I went and got my eyes checked today, about the same, but my right eye is a bit worse and my left eye is the same, but my astigmatism is worse (wohoo!). I thought I’d give contacts a try, I have them on right now, and have had them on since the appointment. I think I’ll try to take them off in a few minutes, just to get the hang of them, then put them on in the morning again. This will be interesting. Its rather strange seeing without my glasses, and since there is nothing in front of my eyes, I can see a whole lot more clearly than before. I stopped and stared off in the distance and at the grass and was amazed at how clear everything is, I should have tried these earlier. In any event, I despise you people with perfect vision, you’re so lucky you can see clearly at all times, so enjoy some flowers or grass or the cut on your hand. Take one for the team.

I couldn’t get out to Europe for the Glastonbury festival, cuz I’m not loaded. So I missed the white stripes play one of their more popular venues, but luckily, thanks to fans and the internet, I can! You can too! It includes some of their newer songs, including a live performance of Blue Orchid. Also for those who may be in the area for a concert in August of the WS in LA, They’re playing the greek theatre August 15-18th with various other groups. A reasonable $45 on Ticketmaster, but they’re going quick! I’d like to order by weeks end.. let me know if you’re interested and what days you can make it.

I got a new cell phone, so let the calling begin. Same number, but now with more lights and colors! I’m rather disappointed since the pictured showed tetris, AND I HAVE NO TETRIS. Damn advertisement.
