TITLE!

Listening more to the white stripes has made me come to a slight realization, I should listen to them more. They always seem to have a knack for determining what i feel at the moment, and providing some comfort to make me at least think about things.

The Denial Twist

So what, somebody left you in a rut
And wants to be the one who’s in control
But the feelin’ that you’re under can really make you wonder
How the hell she could be so cold
So now you’re left denying the truth
And it’s hidden in the wisdom in the back of your tooth
You need to spit it out in a telephone booth
While you call everyone that you know
And ask them, “Where do you think she goes?”
Oh yeah, “Where do you suppose she goes?”

…sums it up…

Get Behind Me Satan

New White Stripes album, 10 bucks at Target. First song, peppy; the rest, serious. If you like their upbeat music like Seven Nation Army, Hotel Yorba, and things like that, this album is not for you. But if you like the slower songs, One More Cup of Coffee, We’re Going to be Friends, and things like that, this album is for you. Jack has said the album is about “Truth” well it is in a way, lyrically its advanced, musically its advanced (who the hell plays a marimba anymore), and compositionally its advanced, but what it lacks, and why it won’t kick ass on the charts, is that upbeat punkish rock n’ roll that most people enjoy. Since its only $10 at target, its probably something that one could buy and check out, so go get it. I paid $20 on a preorder and got a poster! That brent put a crease in :( , oh well.

Nirvana Kicks Ass.

(sad face)

I sorta broke my glasses today, the frame is bent. I went to AAA to get maps, I opened my car door, got out, but the door came back and hit my left glasses and somehow bent the frame. I can still see out of them, I managed to crumple up a peice of paper to get them to sit properly, but I’m trying to bend the frame back to where it was.
