I seem to be too preoccupied to do anything. So many distractions, so much I should be doing. School is going great, its long, boring, and so much work I don’t really want to do awaits me. But over the corner, around the hill, wait… Something off in the distance. Things are so confusing, I can’t wait to see the ending to this story, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Hmm, first day of class, rather interesting. Not really too in depth with the material, but an interesting experience. Afterwards, hung out with Meg for a while, checked out her place, then got some chinese buffet (which has Mr Pibb!) and she gave me a microwave. I don’t know if I will keep it, since its big, black, and takes up a large part of my counter, plus the plug doesn’t fit in all the way… Whoops. I still need to get some bar stools for my countertop, instead of eating at my desk. Now, do I need chemistry or no?

Just got back a while ago from orientation at UCSD. It was an interesting experience, considering I’ve never been on campus before. And I must say, its a really really nice campus. It has some cool looking older buildings, a really cool looking library, and it is set nicely in trees, its going to be interesting. I met a few people, one is a girl named Meg who happens to be a CS major as well, and it looks like we’re sharing a class, she also seemed to know the area a bit better than me, so bravo universe at not making me completely lost. I tried to be more open with those around me, which was rather difficult, but everyone seems very friendly, which is nice. I then proceeded to VONS to get some things, I was confused about the difference between Ramen and Top Ramen, it turns out they’re just from different companies. Oh well. Its kind of boring here alone in my apartment, but I am keeping busy trying to get my laptop all ready for school and such. On the ride down here I was using it as a giant IPOD, to play music in my car, and it worked rather well, I just need more songs and to set it up before I’m driving. I will never again try to use a laptop while driving, I scared myself to death trying to do it, even though nothing happened and I stayed in my lane, it still was a scary experience.

Additionally, I found a new White Stripes song that is pretty interesting, it looks like Jack White is starting a new band and this is something they produced, all though this is recorded off the radio and its with Meg, we’ll see how things turn out, I think its one hell of a cool song, its something different. Here it is.

Shit to do:
Surfboard for surfing.
Find place to put bike, closet in apartment isn’t such a great idea.
Finish unpacking, get rid of boxes.
Make dinner.
