New Hashcashing for Comments

I’ve installed a new plugin for wordpress that will hopefully cut down on the amount of spam I get here daily. I hadn’t checked and deleted the spam I get here for over a week and I had about 250 to go through! I wasn’t very happy so hopefully this will remove the possibility of more spam and perhaps make ym work a bit easier. The hack is WordPress Hashcash 3.2 Beta. Now to get some other things done.

An update

You may not have noticed, but this website is now on a new server! And its one that should be quicker/spiffier than the old one. Well it’ll probably be up about the same, but because I had to configure the server like it was my own, it might go down for editing purposes. Besides that, it’ll work wonderfully! Its not hosted on a linode (http://www.linodes.com) with an updated version of wordpress. On another note, I need to get rid of all the spam comments I’ve been getting. Which means looking into and getting a spam-stopping hack for wordpress, that I’ve yet to investigate, but will soon! I really need to make some changes to my websites here and there. So much to do!
