Motorcycle Lessons = Done
I have finished the last of my motorcycle classes and have received passing grades in both written and riding portions. I’m really stoked to have made it through riding, its a hell of a lot of fun. Now the next steps are to get a permit, get a bike, and then get a license. Then its cheap gas and many highways miles of excitement! Only money is an issue for me in terms of getting a bike. I’m probably going to have to work for two months to be able to afford something I can actually enjoy riding on city streets. Although cheaper than a car, I have no parental assistance, so I have to work out payments/loans on my own, which is something I’m not too thrilled to try and do. I’d rather just plop down a bunch of cash and be done with it! So, I’m looking around at used bikes. Nothing too fancy and nothing too weak. So the perfect beginner bike! In a year or two when I’m more comfortable riding I’ll probably upgrade and get a sick motorcycle that’ll ride circles around moving cars! Oh well, time to hit up the craigslist and newspapers. I wonder what stealerships have in terms of nice used motorbikes! I found a nice one that is apparently a really good beginner bike, a Suzuki GS 500. Only $5k new, but I’d want a used one to save some dough. Always other options. Anyways, let me leave with with a picture of the bike I’m speaking of, I like them naked (engine showing) so its good fun!
