Great Weekend
Wow, this weekend was the best I've had for a long time. I basically got to spend all of it with Carmen and we had so much fun. I rolled into town pretty late after getting stuck in traffic, but I was quick to call Carmen when I got in. She didn't feel like heading up from her home so I decided I'd go down and see how she was doing. Down in Pt. Heuneme we watched Idiocracy and ate some more Spumoni and Rocky Road ice cream. I also got to see a ton of Carmen's paintings and drawings. She's brilliant with art, she has a vision of things and is able to recreate them beautifully with paint, charcoal, pen, pencil, and paper. I hope she keeps drawing, she really does have skill (the dinosaur I drew at work fails in comparison) and she can sing and act too, brilliant! So we watched most of Idiocracy, I fell asleep for a little bit of it, then a little bit more after waking up. But 2am rolled around, she had work the next day and I had to drive back. But we met again on Saturday for some food at Baja Fresh. In my infinite wisdom and masocishm I decided it'd be a good idea to eat Jalopen(~)os and more Jalopen(~)os. Yeah, no good. Afterwards we parted for a bit, I rode my bike around, managed to get confused with the transmission, then relearned how to ride to get back home. We then met up again, Carmen looking beautiful and me looking pretty spiffy myself, donning a suit and red converse sneakers. We met up with Brent and Hamlet to go to BB Kings bar and Grill on Citywalk. We managed to sneak in like an employee and parked in a primo-parking spot that wasn't ours, but no harm no foul. Brent and Hamlet made the joke that we really didn't seem to fit in there, but we really did. We had a round of drinks and watched a Funk band play some live music. From Bowie to Sir-Mix-A-Lot (really) they were pretty interesting. We then came back to my place to watch Sicko. I hate health care now, those bastards! At least the 'terrorists' in Guantanamo get good treatment. I also learned a bit about Cuba that I didn't know before, that they actually have a better health-care system with state-of-the-art equipment. I really am cynical of the government and education now for not mentioning this. Here I was thinking they were a bunch of Communist bastards bent on killing us. But really, like most countries, I've come to realize, they're really just trying to stamp out a life in this crazy world of ours. In any event, Sunday we woke up around noon, went to Universal, got lost in the scorching hot-valley, got into Universal Studios free thanks to Brent and had a great time there. I was really surprised to see all those rides whilst wearing my contacts, I could actually see shit! In any event, I had a wonderful time there with Carmen, her sister and brother and a few other friends. I hated leaving Sunday night, I wish I could just stay there and see her the next day and spend more time with her and my friends. But I gotta work, hopefully securing a good job so I can move to my own place and start a family! So much to do, so little time. Please make the weeks go fast and the weekends go slow and last forever.
That is all.
Note: I got little sleep last night, thats me recalling all the great fun I had on the weekend, it might be confusing and make your ears and brain bleed, but hey, I got over it!

And just who do you plan on starting a family with? Hmmm???
