I was listening to the 2600 off the hook or off the wall program and they played an interesting little sound clip. It was from Dick Cheney in 1994 where he basically said: We shouldn't go into Iraq, too many casualties, no allies, we'd have to occupy the country. This was during the Clinton era, but now Bush comes along and suddenly its a good idea and everyone of his comrades in the White House agreed to it. How hypocritical can one be? I really have lost faith in the government. Let us hope we don't have another disaster any time soon, otherwise we'll probably be ignored for the bigger issue: Iraq. I wonder how many great programs, how many bridges we can fix, how many people we can save if we'd spend that money we used for war for our own people.

Did you hear: Taiwan's fiber pipe got cut in an earthquake about a month ago. How segregated must we be to ignore the rest of the world and only go after things we want. For some reason Bush wanted Iraq so he brought us into it. Government is insane, only crazy people want to be president.
