Yes

I’ve been doing stuff, its amazing. I’ve seen several movies, went and saw Sin City again with Carmen, which was a blast. Then watched The Thing for the first time, awesome movie. I also managed to get some homework done! Holy crap I know! Been farting around though, hanging out, doing stuff, drove around with Carmen looking for a magazine, bought some stuff, watched a movie. I’ve also been playing some 3wave, and kicking ass. Life can be so much fun sometimes, anyways, This is the coolest thing in the whole freakin’ world.

Also, new Whites Stripes single, Blue Orchid, is kick ass, listen to KROQ 106.7, you might hear it.

Wow an Update, and a Title!

I have finished 4 books this year. They are (in order) Hyperion, Fall of Hyperion, Endymion, and Rise of Endymion. And they are all a part of a series of books by Dan Simmons, Really REALLY great Sci-Fi books that I suggest everyone read. It kicked ass, now I’m angry that its over, it was such an adventure. Anyways I have picked up a few Vonnegut books that I haven’t read, like Go Bless you, Mr. Rosewater (Vonnegut now has a book called God Bless You, Dr. Kevorkian) as well as Welcome to the Monkey House, which I’m sure will be entertaining, but Hyperion was so fuckin’ good I don’t know if I can find a book to top it… Anyways, I’ve been doing school, getting OK grades (likes As and Bs) and been generally alright. Been making friends and stuff, still no girlfriend, which is rather depressing, but eh, something will hopefully come along.

Anyways, I have chosen a myspace name, http://www.myspace.com/mrpotter. Its very red. Also, I have been hearing a lot about the White Stripes as of late, and they’re coming out with a new album, Get Behind Me Satan [Teaser site] in may or June, I can’t wait.

I will hopefully update this more.

Sin City.

Saw Sin City about 16 hours ago at a midnight showing at the Regal. There were actually a fair amount of people who showed up to watch it, last two times there were maybe 10 others and another time probably 50, but the theatre was pretty packed. At first I was confused since I had no idea what the hell was going on, but as the movie progressed it all came together, and ended up being a freakin’ sweet movie. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

One thing to note however, this may just be me, but whenever there are people who are in other movies and show up in the one i’m watching, for example Keanu Reeves from the Matrix, or just recently “that guy from Spiderman” (Tobey me thinks), anyways whenever I see them in a movie I always think about their other characters. Like in Constantine with Neo, err Keanu, At the end I expected him to fly off towards the city or something, and in Sin City I expected Tobey to shoot web or something, although he was pretty spiderman like.

Anyways, I give the movie Sin City 10/10, since its so freakin’ awesome.

On a side note, Beck’s new album, Guero, released Tuesday, is named after the nickname he recieved growing up in East Los Angeles, it means “white boy” in Spanish.

A Religion

I am considering starting a religion, it’s main goal is to enhance the thought processes of its members into electing a set of moral and ethical rights and wrongs that become the foundation for leading a good life. There is no god, no worship, no leaders, no churches. Its about the individual and an established and ethical set of beliefs.

Someone Drove off of the Santa Rosa Grade.

On my way back from the bowling alley in Simi Valley, Harley’s, I decided to head up Moorpark Rd. through the Santa Rosa grade (I believe this is what its called). As I was driving up towards the big bend where the signs to follow the road and not drive off I saw a man flagging my down. I was going pretty fast, maybe 50-55, so I had to stop quickly. I did and this man stumbled over to my car window and told me that he drove his car off the road and needed help. Well He did drive his car over the cliff area there and crawled up to the road and flagged me down. So I immediately called 911 and tried to tell where i was, I couldn’t exactly pinpoint my exact coordinates so I said I was on Moorpark Rd. Between Moorpark and Thousand Oaks. They still didn’t understand so they transfered me to somewhere else, I told them where I was and I was asked some questions, asked for an ambulance and hung up. Since I was on my way to pick up Hessman and meet Brent at my house for Denny’s, I got calls from both of them and they were as suprised as I was. Well anyways the guy seemed alright, he was sore, he kept moaning and groaning and I smelt some alcohol on his breath, he kept trying to rest his head and fall asleep but I kept asking him questions so he didn’t go into a coma or anything if he had a concussion. I didn’t think to ask his name I was just asking him questions about his car and such to try and make sure he was alright. Then the cops came and let me go. What a night, what a night. So it goes.

Its da bomb yo.

Sorta. I felt really good about that damned Ethics test I was not really worried about. I knew everything and felt I did good. I felt so good that on the cover of the blue book I had a little fun. Since I didn’t know the date, I merely put “Some time in March”.
I’m so clever.
